I've had 10 contractions in an hour. They're my first painful contractions I've felt though other than Braxton hicks. My water hasn't broken, is this normal or am I going into early labor? Nobody is awake right now:(
Your water may not break, don't wait for that before you go to the hospital.
if there 5 minutes apart go to the hospital. even if ur waters not broke. some times ur water will brake as u push him her out.. and u don't want to deliver at ur home
Maybe they are real! Try drinking lots of water and see if it helps. Just to try to rule out the possibility of dehydration since that causes contractions
@iloveni0820, I can't stand up at all when it happens. it feels like really really bad cramps and back pain.
when I started having real contractions (early labor) my doctor told me to drink water and walk around for an hour. if they become further apart or not as painful then its either dehydration or braxton hicks but they turned out to be the real thing. Try that
@iloveni0820, okay thanks, I'm not in a rush at all I just wanted to know if they were going to continue until I went into labor or eventually go away.
I would wait until they are about five minutes and they are really hard to handle that way you have a better chance of being admitted. Most doctors say to wait until they are 5 minutes apart anyways
okay thank you. I just haven't felt contractions yet so I didn't know if I was overreacting or actually going into labor since they were so consistent.
hmm well I know how I am if im uncomfortable and at 39 weeks I would go get checked out it couldnt hurt and I would rather be safe than sorry
@boggerbaby, average 6-7 minutes. They started out 2 minutes long and now they're about a minute.
I was told you go in when it gets to the point where you can't talk nor walk
