Every appointment I've gone to I've gained like 2 pounds, which I didn't think was bad until they were weekly. I'm at 150 now, is it the baby or do I need to lay off the cravings? I just want to be able to bounce back once he's here.
okay thank you, @prego_again! that makes me feel better, I just know I've been pigging out. I like Little Debbie but she's not so nice to me, just want to make sure I'm healthy for the baby.
some people gain more weight all of us are different ya know.
I was 150 when I got pregnant and I'm now 167. I know a girl who gained 70 pounds.
I doubt it. u look very healthy if ur worried about how u look it may be swelling. I'd try staying away from salt and drinking lots of water it may make u look better and some times water can helps with the cravings. and if ur really worried about it do the diabetic diet cut out sugar and total carbs and eat small meals all day. but really u look great I thibk ur doing fine
@nathaneals_mommy, that's why I'm getting worried because I was only 116 when I got pregnant!
@prego_again, I got those taken last week so 37-38 weeks. I don't feel like I look like I'm getting bigger, the numbers on the scale are just increasing so much every week I feel like I'm eating too much or something.
I'll be 38 weeks Sunday and have gained 17 pounds, I've strayed the same weight my pray few apts
You should gain anywhere from 10 to 30 pounds. The person who apparently gained 70 was not okay! It is way too much weight and at that point you're the one gaining the weight not the baby. So just make sure you've gained less than 30lbs and you're fine :)
