Are birthing classes really that helpful or not. I had a couple people tell me that they are not helpful at all. This is my first child.
I've heard that Generally most people don't end up using what they learned in the birthing classes but they said that it was good because it helped to bond them with the father especially when going into labor.
I have just read a lot of books, watch documentaries, didn't have time for the classes. Due on Monday. I feel pretty confident
I took one at the hospital I had my daughter at and it was nice because they went over their protocols and gave us a hospital tour. They also go over different ways to labor and get through contractions. It's not wicked important to go to one but it also can't hurt.
I never took one. And the girl I work with who is pregnant with her third said they weren't helpful really.
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
Hi Preggies,

Some of you may be feeling alone, sad and anxious in an already challenging time. Some members would like to create a group where they can support each other and stay positive when it seems nearly impossible. Anyone interested in joining this group would comment here and then follow those women. Then you can look out for each other and send positive words of encoura...
