I have a pregnancy diary that I've been writing in. I was thinking about using as more of a becoming a mother diary. like after she is born I will keep writing In it and one day when she is a teenager or when she has her first baby I can give it to her. she can read what I went through with her and possibly add to it (if there are anyvpages left). does that sound like a good idea? would that be something you would find special if your mother's gave it to you?

I started with when and how I found out I was pregnant and went on to how we told our families and their reactions to my appointments to the first time I felt her moving to how we came up with her name to how excited I am. I'm hoping she will like it as a gift one day. maybe it will start a family tradition.

I think so yes I'm also kinda writing in one for my son just about how things are before he's here maybe even while he's still young I'll continue to write

I want to try and keep it pretty up to date till I give it to her. but I will probably write in it a lot more when she is still little bitty and only write about big accomplishments or important life things as she gets older.

I started writing notebooks to my kids when I first found out I was pregnant in 2012. I have one for both of my kids. I wrote about my apts, my deliveries, and now about the new things they learn and funny things they do or say. I love reading back and my friends like to read them, too. It's a great idea. I'm going to give it to them when they're 18. 😊
