Vaseline or petroleum jelly . To clean it just gently blot it, the oozing is normal don't try to remove all of it. If it turns to yellow or green oozing then take him to a pediatrician but the clear or white is fine . Honestly he's okay it is gonna hurt a little bit but when your changing him remember urine sterilizes it so there's no need to do any more than blot it. He's okay I promise it's just sore it's the same feeling when we get cut .

Rant: my son is almost 16 months, yes, I whoop his butt when he runs from me when I try to change his butt or get him dressed, and yes, I spank his butt if he flips over during a diaper change, and yes I smack his hand when he hurts other people, and yes, it has helped a lot.

These days all I do is complain about my partner. I come home from school and I noticed the baby has a soiled diaper. I ask him why he hasn't changed him and his response is, "well you're here now so change is diaper". I ignore him and go wash the baby's bottles. I have a stupid question so please don't judge...but my baby boy pees his diaper every so often. even right after I change his diaper he will pee a little bit. how much does he need to pee before changing a diaper so I'm not wasting diapers? or do I change him even after the smallest little pee he makes?
@havynsmomma0625, thanks girl..iv been gently blotting it with a warm wet washcloth. and i use a qtip to put aquaphor around it. a little not too much.
