So my doc said not to put vasaline on my son's part but it got so bad I did and he's not fussy anymore. poor baby!

When my son got his circumsizion my doc told me to put Vaseline on it
Yea my doctor told me the samething as @brittanybear00
@brittanybear00, not sure why he said no but he did but we didn't listen to him to it hurts them, I felt so bad, so we said screw
why did he tell you no vaseline? I was told to put a big glob on it every diaper change so his penis doesn't stick to his diaper and to help it heal faster. It healed within a week that way.
letting some air get to it will help as well

it won't hurt it...I believe I used ad ointment for Zion. Different doctors suggest different things
yup mine said no bc he got the ring type of circumsizion and it will heal, but oh well I didn't listen we do the Vaseline @chhaya and @jackee856 ;)
