mommies of little boys: how do u know when they are ready to be potty trained? how do u do it? my son is 15 months and loves sitting on the potty but has only gone 2x on there. he will sit on there for an hour and as soon as I take him off he pees on the floor. I'd what to do... any helpful hints?

ha my son must be weird cause he loves being naked and pees everywhere and all over himself and doesn't complain
Little boys don't like peeing on their feet. Try letting him run around the house without a diaper. He'll get annoyed with peeing on his feet and go to the bathroom instead.
Also you don't have to have him sit for hours. Have him try every 45mins I know it's a lot but it will work trust me just takes time. I'm a preschool teacher we do it all the time and help parents.
Keep doing what your doing his gonna pick it up and try underwear also so he can feel the difference of being wet and dry. And other thing is have him around other boys who's potty training he's gonna wanna do the same thing.
