Oh I see thank you. I can thaw it and put the remainder in the fridge that he doesn't drink. Thanks so much! I'm so stressed about giving him a bottle. Like what to do n how to do it. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it very quickly

here are the guidelines for breast milk. so I don't think you'll waste it since it can be in the fridge up to 8 days.

you can't refreeze but it can be in the fridge for like 5 days I think.

I also don't pump very often but she will eat what I pump. as far as wasting frozen bags you should be fine. you can still put it in the fridge and use it later.

@valerie_jean, I don't know if it makes a difference I'm thinking it doesn't ???? I just have 5 -6 oz bags of milk frozen and I really don't want to waste it if he only eats 2-3 oz. i know I'm prob going to waste some when I try and give him a bottle bc I have this feeling that he won't take it

@jadien2010, I didn't know that i usually only get 2 oz at the most from one side! And he normally only eats from one side now. I only started pumping 2 weeks ago tho and I only pump usually once in the morning if I even have time.

if you pump you should get a pretty good idea of how much they eat. my little girl eats about 4oz at her feedings and that's how much I pump out😁

My son eats 2.5-3 oz every 2 to 2 1/2 hours. But he's bottle fed. I don't know if that makes a difference n
