Wow the change in 15 weeks is unbelievable. 5 weeks-20 weeks. It scares me that I won't be the same after pregnancy. I don't want to seem shallow, I am willing to do anything for my baby gain a 100 lbs if I had to. But right now i do feel uncomfortable with certain things that have changed about my physique and how it will be after birth, even tho in my head it is all worth it.. I still can't help but to feel insecure at times. I wish I could talk to my husband about my fears but I feel like he just won't understand and judge me. I tried making indirect comments like " my thighs are rubbing" and he'll be like "well u got more time to go, more weight to gain and u have to do it" like hello I know, my number one priority is to have a healthy baby but I'm still human 😐
Yea! Every women is equipped to. One of my best friends told me that with her first she swore she was not producing enough and so she stopped and regretted so much bc the dr said that sometimes women think that the baby is not getting enough milk but they are and even if you feel u are not producing enough there are things u can do that actually do work.
I hope to god I have enough milk! My midwife says that all women are equipped to produce the same amount of milk...they just have to know how to breastfeed. Fingers crossed! I'm totally going to start a Zumba course one month postpartum too!
@tracynangel
I know what you mean! Me too it's so sad when I see my clothes and they just don't fit anymore. For me is also the face and arms. But you're right it's just temporary, I say the same thing. This is why I plan to breastfeed 😌!
I feel so unattractive and huge! My arms and face...but I know it's just temporary water retention that causes swelling. At least my hair and skin have never looked better! Lol you still look awesome!
I would gladly take it. It's so funny I look at it everyday and I'm like please blow up while I'm pregnant. My sister laughs at me she's like the pregnant belly makes me look even flatter on my booty 😂😤 u look seriously great u have an hour glass shape 😊lucky ducky!@islanddreamer07
I think it's because I've been a non-stop swimmer my whole life.
lol you can have my half! ! he he your a good friend thanks! !
@islanddreamer07, 🙆🏼are u kidding me! Girl u are so lucky! !! 🍑I wish all my fat went there instead of my love handles it's like it stops right there and I'm like why can't u just keep traveling down a little bit more?! 😩
Lmfao!!!! I want a bigger butt I hope my towel doesn't go back to normal!!!! 🙏🏻😂😂😂😂😂but all the other things I will get I love spandex! I even bought a maternity one that gives u space for ur belly, even tho I barely wear it bc now I'm just uncomfortable on my hips and my lower back.
just look up post partum items on ebay and you'll find all kinds of stuff. the imporant part is to choose items that you can wrap around you nice and tight. I grabbed several different types. the old fashioned corset that you need someone to tie in the back is the best for belly then a pull up stretch pair of spandex. the hip shrinker works for tightening the bones back into place.
sorry one more thing your butt will go down on it's own. it's like hiding a blown up balloon under a towel. once you poop the balloon the towel goes back to normal.
Wow u look amazing ! In both pics!!! What is a belly shrinker I deff need to make a note of that. Lol @islanddreamer07
@islanddreamer07,
Sorry for the late reply. Thank you so much for all the advice it's so helpful bc I feel so lost in this pregnancy sometimes lol bc its my first. Some stuff is obviously common sense but other things I'm like what the heck lol like breastfeeding u never realize how tricky it can be until u actually are are preggo and start thinking about it and hearing stories. I mean u seem to have it pretty down packed with the fitness I just really hope I can do the same, I have no clue how life is going to be after baby lol. Btw what did u wrap urself with?
you should never use any of that while you're pregnant though. I'm sure you know that already
Also after I got out of the hospital I wrapped my self up like a mummy to get my shape back. I feel like it really worked. I also tried the belt that tightens your hips and I felt that my hips did shrink a lot.
I know what you mean about husbands not understanding. I told my husbands I don't want to gain too much this time and he said. I'd rather have you fat them am unhealthy baby. Yeah you're supposed to gain weight but not by eating empty calories. I said. I hardly gained any weight with my first one and he is very healthy. I ate too much rice with my second and gained fifty pounds. I was super depressed by my weight gain. Of course it didn't take long to lose it after baby was born but that's not the point. I don't think men know anything a woman struggles with.
everyone is different but yes it can be difficult. I strongly recommend patience and a nipple shield. You should be able to get one at Wal-Mart. latching was the hardest part and it took weeks before I no longer needed a nipple shield. The shield also helps keep your nipples from hurting so bad. I should have had them start pumping me right away I was so engorged. your baby probably won't eat much right away but don't panic just eat and drink healthy and it will come on it's own. I also had to have a lactation at the hospital help me with latching. Women with very swollen and engorged breasts have a harder time at first but once you and your baby get the hang of it the rest comes easily. I worked ten hours a day but was able to pump out a lot of milk. That part got harder over time. My boss is a real prick and there were no accommodation made for me to pump. I found watermelon was a great milk supplier for my boobs. Keeping a national balance in my milk was not easy and you will need to stay on your prenatal vitamins. just remember to eat mostly veges chicken and fruit and lots of water. I also am going to try drinking more coconut water the next child I have. totally worth it. Lansinoh makes great nipple cream and pads so stock up. I used the nipple cream for the whole year and a few months I feed. breastfeeding keeps your babies skin healthy and you get super immunity for you and baby that travels long after you stop feeding. I bottle fed my first and his skin tone was awful. He got constipation and so many cold and flu. I spent so much time in ER with my first I'm glad I breast feed my second the difference is night and day.
@treese410,
That's amazing. I'm looking forward to breastfeeding, I only want the best for my little boo lol. Was it hard for u? In terms of the amount of milk or the feeling I heard it can hurt at times.
@islanddreamer07,
Im deff goof to look it up to get an idea. Thanks
@ab, thank you ❤️
But u know this is a big change and it takes so much on ur body and also mentAlly.
I can't tell you how many times I almost gave up breastfeeding the first couple months. It's hard in the beginning but if you push through it it's such a rewarding thing. Plus an amazing bond between mom and baby ☺️
no problem the best way to not accumulate excess weight is to work those muscles especially in the thighs where our bodies like to store unnecessary weight
it's free on YouTube. I am rocking a four pack lol. I think those girls with six packs don't eat
@jaixo, yea I feel u girl. I hope that does not trigger my depression after baby... I am trying to keep in mind that it will take some time after baby for everything to just fall into place.
@islanddreamer07, good for u! Seriously that's amazing after two kids! Where can j find Tiffany Roth and traci Anderson? I'm going to make a note of that. Thanks!
@treese410, @babygirl10-11 @ab Ty guys 😘. Yes I deff plan on breastfeeding and hopefully it will work out bc i have been noticing that some women have problems breastfeeding. I really do hope I'll bounce back, but who knows maybe that won't even be my priority then. I'm sure once u have ur baby in ur arms and have to take care of them day and night u don't even have time for urself lol.
I have that fear too. I scared I'm going to get depressed because of how I look. I always tried to perfect my body. I'm scared that I'll hate myself the whole time or after the baby is born.
sorry I should specify I've had two babies on number three
there are some workouts you can do now. I am going to push myself to keep up with walking and the workouts especially in my legs and thighs. the stronger you are now the better you will look afterwards. Tracy Anderson is also a good trainer. I do one hour in the morning of both and walking later.
once the baby is out and dr ok it do three hundred jumping jacks. also tiffany rothe workouts. just remember the sooner you get to your workout post baby the better you will look. I am just the same size as before baby but with way more toned muscles from walking during pregnancy.
You will bounce right back! I gained a lot of weight with my second son like 80 pounds and lost 90 and 20 pounds came right off from just delivering my son I carry a lot of water weight sadly I couldn't breast feed but my sister did and after a few month she was this skinny little thing again
you are gorgeous and im positive you will drop whatever baby weight you gain
Idk if you plan on breastfeeding, but I lost all the weight and then some in a month or two just by breastfeeding!!! Either way I'm sure you'll lose it all... You were tiny before!!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Yes! That's what she told me! She said never just stop! Cheers to boobin'!
