has anyones babies cord got snagged?): the hospital told me not to clean around it with alcohol or anything else and they took the clip off. well now he's almost 2 weeks it hasn't fallen off and he snagged it. my mom said if i would have used alcohol it would have fallen off by now(she has 4 kids). i feel so bad now!! he has a big bandaid on his tummy to protect it from further damage til it does fall off
I think it's crazy how doctors and nurses all have different methods for things like this. Like i was told not to touch it don't use alcohol either. Our bodies naturally reject things. I personally would def not tug on it tho. It's going to fall off its only a matter of time til it does let it do it's things naturally
The hospital told me to clean my son's with alchol.
you supposed to tug at it a little bit. her doctor told me to do like north south east and west with it lol. not like pulling hard but just a little it helps it fall off. he also gave me alcohol pads to use on it. your fine girl just start doing all the things we just mentioned and it will be fine :)
the hospital never told me to do that with the alcohol.
ugh i shouldn't have listened to them. is it normal that they unclipped it before he left too? @mrs.oliva
that's weird cause hospitals tell u too do it to get a swab and squeeze some drop on the umbilical cord.
@mrs.oliva the hospital told me it causes rashes on the skin ): wish i didn't listen to them and just listened to my mom!
aww at the doctor office they have some stuff that makes it dry faster but yes you should of been putting alcohol on it every diaper change.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
