bubbles, coloring books, chalk, cars, fingerpaint, playdough, balls, maybe get them a shared ballpit, stuffed animal, some candy like chocolate bunny, peeps, Cadbury eggs, etc.

when my mom makes easter baskets for the grandkids she usually has cars in the boys baskets, and maybe some paint and other coloring utensils, and for a girl, barbies, little girl make up or dress up.

Easter egg hunt...color eggs..bake with them...cook something with them..just have a big play day outside...

bubble guns are always good or anything with bubbles little cars coloring books like you said and candy I would do little stuff....I did cars and monster trucks for my 3 yr old.
