How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol

Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Let me help some of you Mommies. I see that some do not know how to convert their weeks into months....🙄 Divide your weeks by 4. Ex: if you are 37 weeks that mean divide it by 4 which = 9 months and 1week pregnant. Because 4*9 =36 and you still would have a remainder of 1 left so that number left over is considered the weeks you are..... So that mean you are 9 months and 1 week pregnant. @musiowskij, thanks! 😊 idk! I have my 36 weeks appt on Monday so I hope they check dilation and her positioning and maybe even try to tell how much she weighs. And definitely try to tell me when she might come!
