If you raise your hand at baby, let alone a one month old you have issues and probably shouldn't be left alone with your child. Js. Making your child scared of you is not good parenting and not a good way to get your baby to listen. And even that sounds dumb when I say it in my head because no baby "listens", in fact they don't really know what they're doing. They're figuring out their voice and movements. Being calm and being patient are the two main factors of parenting, if you have neither you're in trouble. If you're already raising your hand at your baby I hate to see what you do when he/she becomes a toddler, because let me let you in on a little secret.....they definitely don't listen. Yelling and hitting a child makes them worse, being calm and being patient is the key.
