so yesterday I pumped because I had to go to the lab to test her bilirubin again for jaundice .I honestly don't feel comfortable whipping my boob out in public . and I bottle fed her my milk and stuff. . now she got used to the bottle and won't latch on to my breast... please tell me if I continue trying she will latch on , I want to continue doing it without the bottle because I like the moment of bonding

yayyaa I got.her to latch on for 25 minutes ! now she's sleeping lol thanks.so much for keeping me. encouraged . it took 5 mins of.cruing to latch on but she did it :) @junebaby @californiahaley @regelbaby
just cover up good. I know its uncomfortable at first but it gets easier.

It'll work. Try expressing just a little drop before and run it on her lip so she knows that's where the milk is.
yes it'll work. just stick to the breast. they learn real quick that the bottle is easy. they have to work to get milk out of the breast.
Yes I agree w @californiahaley don't use anything else if u really want to be successful breast feeding. Just keep trying to get her to latch constantly and you'll both get the hang of it.
Keep giving her you breast no bottle. No paci until she latches on again
My baby is still on the size bottles that you get in hospital because the tete on the tommee tippee bottles (and any other bottle) is too big for her... but i think I need to get her on the normal bottles now but is she still to small? She’s just over 6 pounds 🤔...
Or what is everyone else using to bottle feed baby at about that weight ?
My baby girl does not let me do anything all day 😭 I'm lucky if everything is done before my s.o gets home , she cried so I pick her up to feed her and change her diaper and once she's on my breast she eats and I burp her put her down and she'll cry I get her again and she's on my breast not even latched on just smelling my boobs 😭 I'm like girl really lmao she wants me to carry her or be with her all day , girl I wish I could lmao
sitting in a parking lot crying is not how I wanted to spend my night...she isn't latching anymore but she will take her paci with no problem. Guess I'm gonna have to pump and bottle feed
HELP! My baby is a few weeks old. We had trouble with latch in the beginning and she wasn't getting enough food I had to introduce formula to clear her jaundice when she came home..was nervous about introducing the bottle because I knew it might confuse her which I think it did and now have been giving her some breast milk I pump and formula as well. Really want to get her to latch on my breast but it is not working. Any advice here??
