My baby is only 2 days old and i already wanna give up breastfeeding 😳 I feel horrible but it hurts…

It's gets better I promise you guys just have to learn how to work with each other. the first 3 days were the hardest for me. But i constantly was asking for help and pretty soon it became a little easier and his latch got more consistent. you can do it. don't give up

and your nipples become less sore as you feed more. you can ask the nurse for some gel pads to soothe then between feedings if they have any. if not lanolin works good too.

ok maybe its because my milk hasnt came i just have colostrum. i wanna try pumping too. have u tried it? @jellybeansmommie

it gets better. first week is always tough. once your milk comes in it'll be easier.

that's exactly how I was and I was so miserable and I absolutely hated when I had to feed my daughter. I decided that formula was the right thing for me and right after We started formula I was so happy and I loved feeding her. breast feeding isn't for everyone and if Its not for you don't feel bad or defeated. formula is just as good for them as breast milk. your baby got the most crucial part from your breast milk the colostrum.

Due to having large flat nipples (sorry tmi) and a baby with a tied tongue breastfeeding did not work for us but I do pump my breast milk and feed that to her...we've found that breast milk during the day and formula at night works best for us since the formula fills her up better

@mimifeb19 yea you're gonna have a fussy hungry little thing until your mum comes in. the second day I was so frustrated bc he wanted to eat like every hour I was so ready to give up lol. but it gets easier when the fund their latch and you start making milk. the only thing now is this kid stays hungry lol

Contact a lactation specialist (there should be one at the hospital you delivered at) and ask if your latch is correct because a proper latch shouldn't hurt too bad

It hurt me so bad that I just pumped and gave it to him. But since I was hardly producing anything I just give him formula now and he is happy and healthy. @mimifeb19 so don't feel bad, there are a lot of moms who can't breast feed.

Ya him I didn't do the whole him latching on I only pump but he eats 4 to 6 oz now so I feed him whatever I can pump and then formula if I don't have anything in the fridge... try pumping and bottle feeding him your milk it's easier
