here's my labor story :) [2|25|15]
so I woke up 3 times yesterday feeling some water or leakage coming out vaginally on its own . I called the clinic I go to and they told me to go to the emergency room asap because it could be amniotic fluid leaking or my water broke and I needed to get admitted ! so I went in by 1 pm. I was checked by the doctor and he said I was still 1 cm.. but saw the mucus and fluid coming out . so he inserted the long balloon at around 2 .. the balloon helped me dilate to 5 cm by 5 ish.. then I was put on pitch because I kept staying at 5cm.. then I was given epidural at 6 pm. I didn't feel no contractions nothing
. by 1; 30 epidural wore down and I felt.all the strong contractions . by 2 ish.. I felt.her head pushing down , giving so much pressure . by 3 am I said no I can't Take.it no more , I was 6-7 cm dilated .. and her head was almost out. they said hold it don't push because you'll tear .. I said I can't , she wants to come out so by 3:10 they gave in and said ok.. nurses called the doctors and he came and set everything up... they told me to push, .. while pushing I felt everything because the epidural wore off by the 3rd push I was exhausted because I hadnt slept and was in so much pain.. then they told me not to give up give it one more good push. I gave it all I got and boom her head popped out . I received a 2nd degree tear, I felt all the stitches being sowed in me ..but once I saw her face I forgot it all.. she was born today by 3:24 am .. weighing 7 lbs 4 oz, and she was 20 cm long

wow they didn't numb you or anything? they numbed me with like the little shot thing that you get at the dentist before he stitched me up. but congrats on ur lil one! the hard part is over lol

The end sounded super painful 😰😰😰😰 but u did it and it's finally over! I wish u a speedy recovery and congratsssss!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Got to the hospital at 4 am to start my pitocin, well.. I was put on the drip at 430 am , and was 4cm dilated and 80 percent effaced, an hour later. The nurse came in to check me, hours later, and I was at 6 cm. I got the epidural at 6cm.. But it didn't work for me, no more than 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the pain, I was screaming and crying.. And felt everything.. most terrible pain ever, I called for my nurse to come in and she checked me again, said I was ready to deliver, babys head ...
Our not so little boy arrived at 9:45pm on the 27 of March! The day before his due date! 8lb 12oz.. I used gas and air thru the contractions whilst i was in the pool then demanded I wanted an epidural..they finally got me to the delivery place where i could have one and by the time they were ready to give it to me his head was pretty much out so I push him into this world with no pain relief as I'd given up on the gas and air by then! I was biting a towel whilst pushing him out! And considering ...
Push presents are stupid, and women who expect “push presents” from their SO’s are even more stupid. You’re giving life to a human being for Pete’s sake! You don’t need a damn present for something your body is made to do. 🤦🏻♀️

Giving birth wasnt as bad as I thought especially since the doctor gave me epidural at 5cm and I had a button I could push to give me a whole lot more each time it was starting to wear off then before giving birth I pressed the button to give myself a higher dosage since you can't over dose on it I didn't feel anything giving birth I pushed without screaming or making any sounds and because I danced pushing her out wasn't no problem because my muscles are good and my stamina is good she was out ...
I felt them cut and stitch me with my oldest. They numbed but it didn't work. Congrats mama
