Everyone is different with getting induced i was so scared from moms saying o it makes contractions and labor more painful .. i got induced with my second and it wasnt bad at all labored for about 17 hrs and pushed only for six min .. it went easier then my first baby

I was feeling the same way. didn't want to eat or anything just sit in the shower and cry. I'm getting induce Sunday night I'll be 39+4.My doctor order that they start pitocin slow at a low dose and gradually move it up as time pass so I'll be able to cope with the pain.

Definitely talk to you doctor about your depression because after the baby is born your hormones are all out of wake plus your beyond tired. I was very emotional like day 3 and 4 because when your milk comes in your hormones are crazy and I just wanted to cry like someone died but I didn't know why. @mthuntress

My water broke but no contractions so I had to get the pitocin and I didn't get an epidural and I was only 38 weeks. labor was about 6 hours pushed for an hour she came out perfect! @mthuntress

And I've had a leep procedure so I have scar tissue on my cervix. I'm so worried it's a bad choice but my mom, dad and husband are so worried about my mental health @hayleymarie

Then I would go for it. The pitocin makes contractions come fast and closer together then natural. But if you get an epidural it doesn't matter you won't feel it. Why suffer if your doctor said it's safe :)

My being induced resulted in a c section because the Pitocin was causing me to have very strong contractions less than a min apart causing my daughters heart rate to drop and unable to recover between contractions I couldn't dilate more than 4 cm
