Okay so im 7 months pregnant & me and my boyfriend have 3 cats & a dog & we keep them in our room ALWAYS. We live at his moms house & she hates cats & plus has roach poison all over the house so our pets never leave our room. Theyre indoor cats never let outside. Our baby might be born with asthma since I have it. we decided well keep the cats in his brothers room intill shes about a month or 2 . Is it a horrible idea to keep the baby in our room plus 3 cats & a small dog plus the litter box? I told my boyfriend we had to give them away but he wont break. I need honest opinions to make this decision with him final. We want to hear what all of you think about this situation .

Hmm how big is the room? and are you planning on being there for a while or are you wanting to move out soon?

Its not the biggest. once we put the crib in plus all.the other stuff we have here already it'll be cramped. @tibi2696

i wouldnt. thats alot of animals.. and cats like laying on top of babies..pretty dangerous..

we have a cat and she's the sweetest but her litter box always smells of ammonia even though its cleaned regularly, I told my honey that her litter box will not be near the baby but as for the animals around it all depends. were gonna put a thing hanging from the ceiling to drape over her bassinet and crib so the cat won't jump in.

You're not even allowed to be exposed to cat litter while pregnant... I would consider getting a bigger place. That won't be a good thing for the baby to be exposed to...
