@blackjbutterfly14 that's so true..&& that's just why when you fly over seas they gotta make sure you have all these shots or you can't go!!!

There's so much advancement in the world of medicine, I don't see why not take advantage of it. There's a risk with everything you do. But having your kids vaccinated decreased that risk greatly. I personally will vaccinate my kids but I don't judge those who don't because there's countries where people don't get vaccinated and they going strong. .but then again. they have ALOT of people suffering from things we are not

I think if my friends didn't vaccinate their kid I would be kinda uneasy about letting my kid play with them, especially if they were even a little sick.

@jaixi, naw you don't get sick from the vaccines and all vaccines are not live viruses, and what they do inject your immune system then builds antibodies so should you come in contact with it ur immune system is strong enough to resist it, for example any kind of sickness or disease or virus, if you are in the incubation stages and have a fever you are highly contagious lets go with chicken pox, they never had a vaccine when I was growing up well when I was 15 and in my sophomore year of high school my lil cousins that I'm always around had chicken pox they had not broke out yet but they had a fever, it took 3 wks for me to get them and I did, so you have to be very careful, I work for an ambulance company and a hospital and now way would I not get my kids vaccinated and take the chance of bringing them home something nasty, because some times people don't get sick they are just carriers and carry the diseases and make other people sick@sexii_diiva

Newborns and kids under 2 are the real victims because they are too young to have received some of the vaccinations. That's why pediatricians turn down people who aren't vaccinated. And anti vaxers are increasing the risk of infection to elderly people and people with compromised immune systems. It pisses me off to be honest

@jaixi yea girl I NEVER get the flu shot..even when I worked in the pharmacy && it was free!! I was so against it... but you know when you go to your prenatal appt they offer && tell you why you should so I did.. && I probably will the rest of my life now or at least while my child is a kid because they carry so many germs && they don't care they will touch another snotty nose kid && bring it back home

Oh ok I haven't gotten mines yet ... that's probably why I've been sick

@delilahsmommy2015 so that's why pediatrician have been refusing to see unvaccinated patients because they can possibly get it as well

@jaixi I was working in a pharmacy at 1 point && they say they changed the flu shot..it doesn't make you sick anymore... because I believe that at 1st too.. but this year I got it because I'm pregnant && our immune system isn't that good.. I didn't get sick at all.. I was perfectly fine

@mrssabby, they he t sick because they inject a little of it in you. better chance of not getting it of they. give it to u in the first place.

so if my child vaccinated && comes in contact with a child that's not .. && that child has the measles can my child get it? I see pediatrician have been turning down unvaccinated patients ..so I'm wondering why.? can it affect them too? @delilahsmommy2015

I don't even kwow if my mother had measles to be honest... && all of a sudden its back.. so I do believe in vaccines.. let's say one of your close friend doesn't vaccine their kid.. would you let them play with your kid?

My baby got vaccinated, it's a personal decision, if you get them yep some make you sick but in the long wrong you are protected against certain things in the future

I personally don't see why the anti vax parents are getting so attacked because of it. I mean ya it's sad that measles are becoming a big deal again but it's not like the parents chose not to vaccinate their kids knowing they would get the disease.
