Also the hospital will have diapers, wipes, and rash cream if you need it while there. Basically baby just needs a going home outfit, and possibly a couple more onesies if you end up having to stay. I didn't dress my son till we went home but lots of moms do dress while in the hospital. And a car seat. :)

Powder is not recommended for use on babies anymore they an breath in the powder and it messes with their lungs.
