I got my puppy in October before I knew she is now 4 1/2 and honestly sometimes I wish I didn't because puppies are a lot a lot of work and I'm worried with a new born how she will be she won't even be a year old. Idk it's just going to be a lot with a newborn and still puppy. I would wait

@hayleymarie, I have plenty of time for that once I get something I'm fully dedicated to it unless it's boring and not beneficial!!

I just got a puppy and it has been hard work but worth it! My only advice is if your worried about money I wouldn't get the puppy at this point cause the vet and groomers can get expensive and a new baby is already expensive too. Don't wanna stress out too much as a soon to be mommy. But if it's the right time in your life for a new puppy they are great!

I was going to get a puppy to but I don't feel like I have the energy to house train him all day while my husbands at work. So I'm opting out on that one.

If you have time to house train it and get it used to your house rules it should be fine but if you don't have that time it'd be much harder to deal with once you have a newborn
