just found out I have gestational diabetes :( so stressed. has anyone gotten diabetes & taken off after birth. what was your experience? & did u have to use insulin..did u have c section? so worried!!

I was diagnosed at 17 weeks with GD and its really not that bad. Mine was controlled easily with a diet and I'm still doing very well. Just watch your carb intake and drink lots of water.
Its not that bad I had it with two pregnancies. I took insulin also and had a c-section because I had 2. It went away after birth though.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

I have GD and had it with my first pregnancy as well. I'm controlling it with diet and exercise. I had an all natural vaginal delivery with my first and he weighed 8lbs. It's nothing to worry about as long as you take care of yourself and keep your sugar down.
