My Labor Story:

I got induced at exactly 39 weeks. When i arrived at the hospital around 2pm, they brought me to my room and told me they had to insert a pill to soften my cervix and it would take 12 hours until they could start me on Pitocin. At 4am the next morning the nurse came in and let me shower before they started me on Pitocin. After i showered, they hooked me up and my contractions slowly but surely got more intense. About 2 hours in i got up out of bed to sit in the rocking chair to see if it would be more confortable. My water broke. Right after that my pain intensified times 10. The pressure was so much. They kept cranking my pitocin up like every 15 minutes. A few hours later i was moaning and groaning quite loudly from the pain. Another hour later i couldn't even control myself and i was screaming from the contractions. Finally got my epidural and OMFG i couldn't feel shit anymore. I was beyond happy. The doctor came in and checked me and i was fully dialated. It took me about 5 minutes of pushing and my babyboy was here 💙 THE PAIN IS BEYOND WORTH IT, LADIES. I PROMISE. I was in active labor for about 13 hours.
