I got induced 2 weeks before my due date. I told my doctor that I was having a lot of discomfort and that she was just to heavy for me to hold her. she was 8.9 if I would of waited for my due date I think she would of been 9 pounds @030815

I asked my doc to induce me and I'm 40 weeks on Tuesday and they said they might still make me wait til 41 or 42 weeks depending on the ultrasound. :/ they said baby and I are too healthy

it depends on your doctor. and also your a ftm so doctors like to see what ur body can do. my doctor is will induce me 2 weeks before my due date as well..

I asked and she said the soonest this hospital will let her induce is 39 weeks and she scheduled me for 39 w 1d ! I'm beyond ready

you should asl your doctor. where i live in order to be induced you have to be 41 weeks...if its your first. but just discuss it with your doctor and see what he/she says.
