ok I'm going to rant for a minute, so pardon me. I allowed my daughter to go stay with her fathers side of the family…
ok I'm going to rant for a minute, so pardon me. I allowed my daughter to go stay with her fathers side of the family overnight in a town about 1 1/2 hours away from here. I was never told what time they would be at my house to pick her up yesterday. I wake up to his mom blowing my phone up sayings she's here and ready for her. lucy is asleep, not changed or fed, no bag packed, NOTHING. so I throw a couple onesies, socks, and a bow in her bag and feed her and what not, and she left. they get down there and open her bag and say I barely packed ANYTHING for her to wear. 3, yes 3, onesies for one day is nothing. a night outfit, nothing. so they go out and buy her clothes and then complain to my so that I didn't pack anything so they had to go out and buy all new stuff. and HE DOES NOTHING. says nothing to back me up and when I get upset because that makes me look like a bad parent.. he gets pissed! ugh. I swear.

yea I would have been mad too... men try to be non confrontational... he probably didn't do it intentional but I go thru stuff like that with my husband as well. he is always like it will blow over no need to say anything but I'm like no its the principal . If it's the other way around I have your back ready to speak up for you. but sometimes they just don't get it

@sgtpeppertheory, if this is his first child he will be like this for a little while because .. with men babies are like foreign territory lol they have no clue but i say.. thats not right for them to act like that towards you.. especially if you are just being so nice by letting them even take your child.. it might take sometime but just keep letting him know how that made you feel.. and that you would never allow your family to treat him tht way.. he will soon start to notice how his family is.. nd that as a man it his responsibility to back you up no matter what the situation..

I would think so u never no wht could happen she maybe spit up or pee poop ... idk thats just me my daughter was gone over night last night and I packed 4 pj sets with 4 onsies and 2 outfits and she was only 15 mins away
