So, I'm currently 35 weeks 5 days and I've been doing non stress tests for a while now, everything had been going alright. Last week however my blood pressure began to run high, feet were enormous, then the protein in my urine, blurred vision, headaches.. Wednesday they decided to take me into labor and delivery to monitor everything. Instantly they took me out if work and said complete bedrest is a must. They kept me over night, then all day again and here I am. I've not gotten horribly worse, pressure is still elevated, blurred vision is the worst, and the headache is still bad but they may give me the choice to go home on bed rest. I'm being told to stay in the hospital as long as I'm able (up to two weeks for optimal delivery at 37 weeks in this case) should I even try bed rest at home or stay put? What would you ladies do?

I would stay put. That way there monitoring your baby 24/7...hope everything goes well && good luck
if they give you the option to go home i would. I had to stay in hospital for all while when 37 weeks. it was horrible. you will be so much more comfortable at home. thats just my opinion tho. good luck
For the sake and health of you and your baby I would stay put. Not saying that you wouldnt cooperate but I know if it was me I wouldnt be completely on bedrest at home I would find some reason to be up and running aomewhere thinking oh this lil bit wont hurt but in reality we never know what may happen.
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
Ladies I would like to introduce my babygirl. Came to the hospital and was having full blown contractions and doctor decided to operate me. My delivery was so painful I felt everything.

My SO has been rude a lot ever since I've gotten pregnant...he said he doesn't care about my pregnancy, he doesn't even take one day off from work just ONE to come to at least one ultra sound appointment. I mean he's always making sure I'm fed, he lets use the heating pad, and even apologized to saying he doesn't care. He can mess with me all day but when I want to join and play around he gives me an attitude. He just makes me feel like s*** at times. He's a great fiancé don't get me wro...
Does anyone like their in laws?
With all the posts about terrible in laws I was just wondering if anyone actually likes their in laws?!?! I love me in laws. I'm blessed to have such a wonderful immediate and extended family. My mil loves spending time with my boys. She comes over at least once a week and will sleep over. She gets up with the boys in the morning and let's my husband and I sleep in. My fil is a great man also. He's always coming over to visit and do some odd jobs around the house...

Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...
