I'm constantly hearing women say they want to be induced for reasons other then medical. It really bothers me to be honest. I had to be induced with my first pregnancy due to complications and it looks like I'm going to have to be induced again. I would give anything to be able to experience naturally going into labor.... I don't understand why women take it for granted.

@jadasmommy93, it all depends on if you're going to be getting pain medication like an epidural.
@jadasmommy93, Being induced isn't necessary scary... Everything will be fine. If it's the best thing for you and your baby.

I've heard of both those reasons @musiowskij and @tibi2696 and it's just ridiculous that the babies that women don't have the babies best interest at heart. If someone can't make it to the birth... I'm sorry but that's life. Not everyone gets what they want. I know that probably sounds mean but we chose this path in life and we can't just take the easy way out when things get tough.
what bothers me most is the people wanting to be induced just cause a certain person won't be able to make it on the due date. I understand that not having the dad or someone else really close to you there would be awful but it's a birth not party you can't just choose a different date. sorry if I offend anyone it's just my opinion
I completely agree it bothers me so much when I see the posts about asking what are safe methods for self induction cuz the baby is hurting them. It's selfish honestly, one time I spoke my opinion about a woman who went and bought castor oil to induce herself and I had s group of 3-4 girls on me hating on me saying I didn't know anything, I haven't seen them on here since

I agree. I had to be induced with my previous for medical issues as well and it sucks but I pray this one goes well without being induced @mamabear2023

I absolutely agree with you, people don't realize what they have and appreciate the health of their babies, especially when it comes to giving birth... people are more worried about themselves and their own pain instead of their babies and the experience. I'm praying for you and your little sweetie...
yup but I guess people can't handle the pain I really don't think they think it through when they get pregnant its nothing like the movies make it seem
We are all in pain! It's all part of being pregnant and choosing to be a mother. Labor is nothing compared to body aches we get now. @january10th
selfish people just cause they're in pain. if they can't stand the pain now I wonder how they get thru labor & delivery. :-\
