Is it terrible that when I hear my Mom friends complaining about remembering to move Elf on Shelf, I secretly hope this tradition dies out before my little one is old enough to want one.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I really thought I was getting a baby shower and like no one has even thought about giving me one. This is my first baby i mean no one has to do anything for me I just at least thought they had plans for me and they don’t. They gave my uncle one because his wife didn’t want one because she already had a kid.And everyone got a baby shower and was giving one .But I guess it’s okay. I’ll do my own baby shower with my next child I just thought family planned a baby shower for you . Lol guess I thought wrong.

when I was growing up there was no elf on the shelf. but my mom did tell us there was an elf in the air vents that would report back to Santa.

I dont do any of that if it was up to me my daughter wouldn't even believe in santa but her dad and his family want her to so I keep my mouth shut lol

It's definitely cute but silly. Then again, like @babygirl10-11 I'd rather not encourage Santa much either but my H and IL's are way into that. Call me the grinch I guess but I was raised with German traditions where santa is a kind man in history, not a immortal guy who brings gifts.

yea @mrs.oliva u supposed to move it every night while they sleep and make it so different things like u caught it playing the Christmas tree and he got stuck in the lights so have him like hanging frm the light lol
