It's not that bad they hook you up to ivs anyway 😕 I had to get the antibiotics with my second because my doctor didn't get to test me before I went in to labor 😔 & with my first I was negative. it's not so bad don't worry so much about it

I really have no clue it's weird because you tested positive this time but next time you have a baby you could very well test negative. it's a bacteria that spreads from the rectum up to the vaginal canal or something like that.

I'll ask my doctor exactly how & why when I get tested next Friday

It comes from bacteria in the foods we eat, mostly from fish and cows, so milk, beef and stuff like that, it spreads from your intestines to the vaginal area to the birth canal, they gave me antibiotics 3wks ago, but that's cause it's to early to test, so if something happens and you go in labor before the test they give you antibiotics just to be safe, it's not an std, so don't feel bad 😊

Yea I just read that it comes from a bacteria that lives in the intestine, vagina, and rectum area and 25% of healthy women are gbs carriers. I guess it's something that just happens @january10th

Girly your not alone I tested positive for it at the beginning of my pregnancy and so did my friend who is also preggers! It's so common.

@sexii_diiva I get my test next Friday at 36 weeks & 6 days but I believe it's from 34 to 37 or so it depends on the doctor. nothing to be scared of they just give you antibiotics during labor so baby doesn't get infections

Nope because if you test positive they give antibiotics during labor so it doesn't harm baby but you might not even have to worry about it.

@sexii_diiva, nope don't be scared, it's fine, just think of it like this, you know how some people engage in Anal sex, well they tell you never go from anal to vagina without fully washing due to the fact that the anal and rectal track is full of nasty bacteria from the foods we eat, also another reason why they tell you to wipe from front to back and not back to front because of bacteria.

ugh! I hope they hurry lol but my dr is on of those who if its nothing or comes out normal then they won't call and its irritating
