to be honest most medical professionals advise that if you are sexually active you should be on prenatal vitamins.. preferably a sufficient amount of folic acid to prevent various birth defects.. not saying your baby will not be ok if you dont take prenatals but it does help your body prepare for pregnancy. .

oh it can lower sperm count but I dont think too much. my husband & his sis are huge pot heads before I got pregnant both times he smoked sooo much. I think its actually helped us get pregnant lol

he used to do really hard drugs when he was 18 to 21 so weed is the least of my worries. @anessakayla18

Alright someone told me that if they smoke and drink it can lower their sperm count I wasn't sure if it was true or not. Thank you! @mrs.aceves

@anessakayla18, that honestly doesnt matter as long as they dont do it around you. it is very very unlikely he can pass anything to you or baby through sperm so you dont really have a worry.

Yes taking them earlier is better!! If think of how much developing is done in the first trimester and second! So the earlier your body has those vitamins the better :)

their a good source of vitamins.

I heard if you're planning to get pregnant that you should start prenatals to help the process along and to help get the baby what it needs early on
