So my friend's baby is 9 months old and weighs 31lbs 😮 don't get me wrong, I love him to death, but isn't that a little much for a 9 month old to weigh? His dr said it was completely normal, and said it was from where he's tall. Which he's only an inch or so taller than my 1 year old. She's only 20lbs, at the most. I also saw that the average weight for a 1 yr old is 15-20lbs(not sure what year the chart was dated though) so would you consider him overweight or agree with his dr and say he's at a normal weight? Just full of curiosity. Thanks (:

@laura_love, that's why it advisable to get a good doctor who cares enough. One who won't just tell u " it's just baby fat" infant obesity leads to childhood obesity. I don't know why some people don't get this. The little girl I mentioned used to bed fed all kinds of fatty stuff. Her parents were just so happy to see her eat "grown up food" smh
