what should I expect when I go in to have my induction. I have to be there the 17th at 9pm. my doctor didn't really explain anything to me and I was so excited to know she will be here so I didn't ask Lol. I have another appointment next week before my induction but I'm just curious on what some of your experiences were.
@boothang8695, that's good to hear I hope you and baby are doing well. thank you for keeping me posted. and congrats!
@pypersmommy, my induction today went very well, they had me on pitocin which just made the contractions much stronger and much more intense. and then they broke my water.
I went in, got the IV started, and my doctor came straight in, and broke my water. Honestly, I'd suggest getting the epidural as soon as they offer it if you're being induced. I tried to do the all natural thing, but I found out the hard way that pitocin contractions hurt a lot, and ended up in tears after 4 hours begging for the epidural lol Past that, it's just a lot of waiting, and a lot of exams! lol. My suggestion, is sleep whenever you have the opportunity. It passes the time, and pushing is one hell of a workout! haha
With mine I had a gel put into my lady bits to soften my cervix, and after they say that working, and started things off (they gave me some pain medicone in my iv btw) they started potocin, and about five minutes after that I got my epidural, and basically you just wait from there. and when I got there they put in an iv.
@boothang8695, I live 2 hrs away from the closest hospital and when/if it snows you can't even get a tractor down my road and they want to be cautious and don't want me to go into labor at home and no way to get to the hospital. and I don't have a vehicle at he moment and rely on friends to get around.
Expect a needle in each arm at the same time. <----that sucked. But it wasn't that bad. The pitocin they gave me took about an hour so to kick in. Over all, a decent experience, though.
@pypersmommy, I'm getting induced at 5 am Monday morning so I'll let you know then :)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
induction???
So they want to talk about induction at my next appointment. I'll be 40w2d. So I'm not early. What are some of your experiences with induction. How do they do it? Will it raise my chances if having to have a c-section. I don't want a c-section. If anyone can give me some info or advice. That would be great.

but first this is the test I got excited about, I
took it later yesterday morning at only 8dpo.
Did I get excited for nothing? :(
I didn't tell anyone other than preggie and hubby, I showed him the test and he was so happy it breaks my heart. Ik I still have a week before my period is even due so Ik If I was I'm very early but that negative this morning has me honestly crushed! what do you think by this test? what would you have thought? :(
What would you be thinking now if you got a neg the nex...
I was told today that they will schedule me for an induction. how long until I have a date? and what can I expect? is every induction the same process? what do they do? sorry for all my questions.
What is it like to have a c-section? I was told by my doctor I would likely have one so I am kinda nervous.😯😯
@pypersmommy, your welcome and thank you
