So we havent picked out a name for our son but my husband has referred to him as Jr a few times at first I was set against him having the same name because Im not huge on my hubbys name.. but every time he refers to the baby as Jr it melts my heart and now ive caught myself calling him Jr.. I think subconsciously ive already chosen my babys name!!
ladies help! my SO wants our baby boy to be named after him and i personally dont like the idea of having a Jr but i would be okay making the babies middle name his first name but he doesn't want to compromise am i being unreasonable for fighting him on this ?
Am I being too shallow? So my boyfriend keeps mentioning that he wants to name the boy, if we have a boy, Joseph Daniel Jr. I love the fact he wants to have a Jr. BUT..I feel bad because I had all these names in my head for the longest time that I've been wanting to always name my child, as I'm sure the rest if you girls have had names that you had loved for the longest time that you wanted to name your child. I haven't really mentioned to him that I don't want to name the child that name because I don't want to sound mean and disappoint him.

I was the same way I'm not a huge fan of my fiancé name either cause of the movie Friday lol but it settled with me when he started calling him CJ lol

I WAS THE SAME I WASNT BIG ON THE WHOLE JR THING AND MY HUBBY MIDDLE NAME TO ME ISNT SPELLED RIGHT SO I REALLY WAS LIKE UM HELL NO. BUT PAPI STARTED CALLING HIM BJ (BUCK JR) AND IT STUCK EVEN THOUGH HUBBY NAME IS KEVIN LOL.

@babyvazquez15, lol my husbands middle name is Guadalupe to me that is a girl name. If he has the same first name he can still be a Jr right? My husband is such a good father to our girls and husband to me and I kno hes going to be great to our son❤
