ladies help! my SO wants our baby boy to be named after him and i personally dont like the idea of having a Jr but i would be okay making the babies middle name his first name but he doesn't want to compromise am i being unreasonable for fighting him on this ?

i just realized your still early in your pregnancy i have 4 baby boy names i really like so im hoping he will compromise for one of those lol
@aaquino it's up in the air for a boy since we are having two and we don't know yet what they are he keeps picking stupid boy names that I HATE! but finally found a girl name we both love

I was going thro this. I just straight up kept telling him I do not want another richard! his dad and him are Richards and I don't want my son to be named that. then he hated the idea of it being a middle name so we threw that out completely lol

Lol! I pray I don't have any boys. Everyone keeps asking what names we've came up with and I'm like we're not talking about it until we know what the gender is because I know we'll be going round and round over names and I don't feel like arguing lol.

My hubby is doing the same thing and we don't even know what gender the baby is. So I'm just hoping for a girl so I don't have to deal with it but we just decide the baby can take his middle name and that's it.

No way! You both made this child, so you both should love the name. It's all about compromise. And suggesting the middle name instead of the first is definitely compromise on your part.
