I totally see your point. I think sometimes as a young mother there's so much more that needs to be proven to show there a good mother or will be to your child. I was 17 when I had my first and there's a lot of judgemental people who think I wasn't able to. or that my son would grow up bad. I feel like as a mother you want to let everyone know your a good mother because it's the worst feeling when people say your not. I'm a great mother to my son and I have all my priorities straight. I go to school and work have my own place but other young girls might feel they have more to prove then someone who's older.

@kaylhunt2 yes. . some people like that.. settle down && get married right away.. and nothing is wrong with that!

i never really had much of a childhood, i raised my younger siblings, and i didnt really ever feel the need to party or go out and be crazy. i mean, id chill.with friends and have a few drinks but thats really about it.

@kaylhunt2 I mean it's going but if you're ready go right ahead... I know at that age I wasn't ready. I was worried about being a player && partying lol.. but I had frienda that were opposite.. aerrling down young.. only reason at 16 I don't recommend it is because you think you know what love is that young.. you're still growing && forming your own opinions.. the stuff I liked in men at 16 I damn sure don't like at 25 lol but younger I feel like you couldn't tell me anything. I knew it all.. lol..

im from utah. so 19 and married with a kid on the way isnt too bad. but i feel like its pretty young.

@mrssabby yes exactly.. I'm 25 .. young but when they say young I assume still in high school type of young.. I mean 18 && 19 are young too but its way more accepted rather then being 16 ya know

Lol yeah I saw that post, I asked the question well what's old and young, cause I'm 32 turning 33 on my due date and I had my first baby at 20, and that's young and I'm still young 😊I just don't understand all the comparisons, who cares if I need to talk or rant, or I post a question, I don't care if ya 15 or 55 I'm reading it all and taking in everybody's thoughts and opinions, cause we are all different and special in our own ways 😘😘😘😘😘

@kaylhunt2 exactly... just like every young Person isn't a bad mother but every old person isn't a good person. it just depends on the person -& the whole situation . What they will do for their child that makes them a great mother ☺☺

i could see how being younger could be beneficial, but being older is often the better option because people tend to be better off later.in life. but that doesnt effect a mothers ability to parent. just what tools are available to help them raise their children. i didnt chose to have my baby now, but i did know.i wanted to.start early for.health reasons. but if i had the option to wait longer i feel like i would.

yes.. its happening a lot && look like its been a big debate the last few days... one girl said that she thinks younger parents are better then older parents.. it's like one thing after another @kaylhunt2

im 19, and honestly if someone gives me advice ill take it. unless someone is rude to me first i am nice. there is no reason for me not to be. we are all looking for the same thing here, the support and companionship of other pregnant women and mothers. ive seen a lot of posts about this, havent seen any of the negative comments but it makes me sad that its happening.

Right. I'm 18 and could careless what anyone has to say lol. Whether you're young or old pregnancy is a beautiful thing.

everyone needs to just ignore it and not take offense. I'm 21 and any young comment I ignore. there's no sense in getting worked up ladies.
