You can still do that but don't have to aha but think of it this way sound travels through water faster. The amniotic fluid in your body is just like water so your baby is able to hear sounds louder and more distinguished then a normal human being lol

Once you hit 25 a baby can distinguish sounds a lot better then most people think. You don't have to be up against your stomach but like as if you where to have a on one convo with someone.

@wondermom I actually feel weird too..even talking to my bump... I just don't do it.. that's why I want my bf to read to the baby lol.. and if I read then I Want my man around so it doesn't seem like I'm talking to myself. but if I notice the baby reacting to my voice then I won't mind reading alone but I don't wanna be ignored lol

to be honest I actually Don't read to my baby, since at the end of the day he doesn't see that act nor understands I find it kind of odd but I do rub my belly and talk to him, but to each it's own, everyone shows affection differently , some people feel good reading to their baby inside their belly, whatever makes the parents feel good then hey why go for it.

Either way the baby will hear ya voices lol obviously he won't understand what ya are saying or doing but we will definitely hear ya voices :-)
