I don't think she was upset her family was there and I made sure she knew that I loved it and was sure to thank her a ton. but I was so sad

Dont be sad she gave you that baby shower because she loves you you should appreciate she cared enough to.throw for you unlike all the people you invited

I had the same thing happen. my best friend was supposed to host it with my mom. my friend sent invites with the wrong date and I had to resend some with the right date. my mom spent all morning cooking the day off. apparently a lot of people were confused and only 3 people showed up, not including the hosts and people that were there to help set up, like my sisters. I was so upset, I ended up going to the restroom to cry.

yea I cried. last night and this morning too. what hurts more than anything was I write on fb how disappointed I was and all of my out of state friends and one branch of my family (who had a death in the family and had good reason not to come) are the ones that called or texted to say sorry they couldn't be there and ask if I was ok. but my birth mom and my sister didn't even acknowledge. it at all. that hurt more than anything. and my one friend that RSVP. nights before didn't show and yet she posted on fb that she just hung out at home all day. she didn't even text me. @nmitchell
