happens to me all the time, as for my age as well they assume im a single mother living with parents

I'm white lol but I do find that inappropriate to ask! must ppl ask how far are you and the gender. that new do you have a bf like what does that matter !

it's known of her business but maybe it wasn't like that but still it's not her business she is just been nosey

I'm sure she would of asked whether u were black white yellow or purple. Don't assume bc ur black she assumes ur single there's tons of white single moms too take it easy

@valerie_07 yes I always feel people look at me like I'm young (25) && think thus was an accident but this was well planned but accidents are a blessing too.. @krb0911 that's how I feel specially if we don't talk like that.. why is it your concern @dmariejj that's why I was like maybe I'm just reading to hard into the situation @regelbaby I know I said I felt that way. I'm not gonna act any different towards her && believe me I don't get offended very easily . it just struck me the wrong way but I'm not confrontational so I kept talking to her but it threw me off and I did feel a lil weird about it. just like I said before me being young I feel people think it was a mistake && other things. that's just society.. society can be very judgemental at times

Hear ya. Older women say things like "ohhh thats a surprise!" Or "how does Bronson feel?" Like as if my bf is mad about it or something. Or like I baby locked my guy on purpose or something. its fact that she is black and the other girl is white. If you look online African Americans have a higher rate of single parent homes plus moves emphasis this also. As much as we hate to say somethings are about race even if it subconscious.

I am am American Muslim and many people ask where I am from (becuz of the head scarf) and when I say American they say yeah but before that or your parents. My parents are American and my grandparents. it is what it is
