If it's not an emergency then it's better to wait either till your second trimester or even better to wait after you give birth.

I'm in my second trimester. I guess I should wait better to be safe then sorry :)

Thats not true dear. We should go because being pregnant does affect the teeth and gums. I went when i was 5 months. Only thing is they will not do surgery just cleaning

I go to dentist every 4weeks I have braces and I am gonna tell hubby to give me a cleaning ;)

My husband has been in dental field for going on 8 years he's a surgical general/ortho assistant!! He works in my mouth wen i go for my braces and wen i get my cleanings. I want him to go be a dentist but he dont want to now he wants to open a car dealership then go back to school!!

isn't that awesome. I need braces and a jaw expansion. I would suck my thumb until I was twelve in result I have one csnine tooth dtivking out which people consider Saber tooth -_- but that's awesome ! you have such an advantage ! @mrs.oliva I wonder why he doesn't want to further in dentistry

Because its 12 years of school lol.

And the school is about $500,000 thats why he wants to open his dealership to make more money to afford school also and he really doesnt wanna work for nobody nomore he wants his own buisness.

12 more years? omg worse than med school. is it mostly the residency that adds up to 12 years ? @mrs.oliva I know when I thought of medicine it would've taken me 7 years (4 yrs of med school+3 years of residency)

To be a dentist u go thru all the med school then go to dentistry so its like 6 years each!!!!
