Hello everyone! My name is Alice and I’ve been blessed with a young pregnancy. A combination of unpreparedness and stupidity caused this to happen but I’m embracing it with open arms.

I’m here to learn more from other pregnant women, and women who have children of their own.

Currently, I don’t know how far along I am yet but the symptoms are there, haha!

I’m so excited! I heard my babies heartbeat today, and I got confirmation that I’m 13 weeks along on Friday! Aahhhh I’m so happy!!!

Just finished my first prenatal appointment. It went well! I had blood taken, urine sample, got a goodie bag filled with books and stuff. Can’t wait till my next one!

Does anyone else argue with their significant other about baby names? If we have a girl I want to name her Ayla Susan, after the main character from The Earths Children series(my favorite) and my grandmother who was important to me. If we have a boy I want to name them Thomas James, after my little brother who passed when he was 5 and my uncle who OD’d before I was born. My partner keeps making name suggestions that are just “I think it’s a cool name” and he doesn’t understand why these names ha...

Ugh....prenatals are sooo gross....I can barely manage to choke them down, but even still I feel queasy for hours afterward.

Hey moms! Just wondering if it’s normal for intense nausea and a sensitive nose to completely ware off after a couple of days. I’m still in the first trimester(to my knowledge).

Most of my nausea has subsided and my first prenatal appointment is in January! Yay!

On a side note, I forgot how delicious apples are! I might need a whole bucket full!

Oof, nausea sucks. Every little thing sets me off. Air freshener? Blegh. Someone’s cooking a burger? Eugh. Heck, even some lady’s perfume set me off. Totally puts me off my appetite and I’m terrified I’m not eating enough but when I try I wanna hurl.

So far the only foods I’ve found to not give me nausea are easy mac and wheat thins. Not healthy but it’s something. Any advice/experiences y’all wanna share?

Hello everyone! I have a bit of an urgent inquiry for you guys.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been having extreme cramps. Simulating period cramps(I have painful cramps), but obviously after a few tests I figured out I was pregnant. But the cramps persisted. During the first couple of days, it was excruciatingly painful, I had to take extra strength painkillers just to sleep and even then I hardly slept.
