Spending the wee hours of the morning in the E.R. with little man's first real fever and Mom having bad stomach pains. This does not bode well for the rest of the day.

How we got so lucky with this beautiful boy, I will never know. 💙

Baby boy sleeps better and longer when he's in my arms than in his bassinet. But it's so hot we both overheat so easily!!! It's nice on rare occasions though, cause it means I get a few hours of real sleep. 😅

Lucas Rybolt Ezell has arrived! Due July 31st, we finally went in yesterday at 4cm and 80% effaced. Doc decided to induce us due to my blood pressure steadily rising over the last few weeks.

Got checked several times with no change even with the pitocin. Knowing we were high risk for a csection I've had pretty bad SPD, I went a head and got an epidural to prepare for everything.

Baby boy refused to drop into my pelvis. Even with great contractions coming ...

Relaxing in bed hooked up to monitors and pitocin. They want to break my water soon. Can't believe soon-ish, I'll have a baby here! Doesn't quite feel real yet.
