I'm a young stay at home mommy in Houston, Texas!

I’m a mommy to a 5 year old son on the Autism Spectrum names Benjamin, and to a 2 year old crazy little girl named Penelope!

My interests consist of baking, gaming, going to Target & Dollar Tree, writing, and spending time with my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Hoping tomorrow’s speech therapy is as good as last weeks! ❤️

Any tips, word of advice, for a child with “mild/moderate” Autism going to (public) school for the first time? Really anxious for my 5 year old son to start school on the 27th 😞

How was your child’s first day of school? How did things work out for him/her?

I’m not sure if he will be placed in special needs class or be with the “regular” kids. Hope to find out next Wednesday for orientation!

He did so good in speech therapy today ❤️ now we’re watching movies and doing all the puzzles in the house because he did such a good job!

How about y’all?

My 2 year old is low key driving me nuts 🙃 she’s had a messed up sleeping schedule since she was 15 months and she just keeps sleeping late. It’s currently 1:42am and she’s still awake. The latest she’s gone to sleep is 5am. Any one else can relate or can give me any tips to fix this? I’m a very exhausted mama 😔
