update:

My MRI showed a unicornuate uterus. This means that while in utero the uterus develops in two separate pieces which then join to make one single uterus. I only developed the left side and I come with only one fallopian tube. I can carry a baby (yay!!!) but am at risk for preterm delivery and would need a csection. Also, it's not a good idea for me too have multiples as there is half the space for only one baby as it is. Therefore, treatment with meds is a risky option. My husband's...

A long overdue update:

I was scheduled to have a saline ultrasound on Tuesday but had to have it on Wednesday. With a saline ultrasound you have to have a full bladder and they insert saline into your uterus to determine if there are any polyps. It was slightly uncomfortable because I really had to urinate! It turns out she saw two polyps and she scheduled a hysteroscopy, which is a diagnostic procedure to view, diagnose, and excise any abnormalities. Whoa... kinda unexpected.

Update:

Had my lab tests on Friday at the fertility clinic. They took about 6 vials of blood! I'm still so eager for this journey. I have two exams this week: saline ultrasound on Tuesday and a HSG on Thursday. I'm so grateful for my boss for being so understanding of the short notice appointments. I told her my appreciation on Friday and she is very accommodating, having me take early and extended lunches for my appointments. She said, "I want you to have a baby!"
