Woke up 5am to a gush of pink fluid. Went up to L&D at 1pm and confirmed that my waters have broken, baby is fine but no contractions yet. Sent home to hopefully go into labour. Exactly 39 weeks today.

38w today. Baby has one week to make his own entrance or he's being evicted on the 16th. This will be my last baby, my last labour and delivery. Trying not to wish it away but I'm very excited to meet our little man.

32w growth scan tomorrow. Husband finally coming to an appointment with me; I think I'm more excited about this than the scan! I won't have to juggle a toddler while trying to engage with my OB.

Hopefully scan will show baby growing well. All previous measurements this pregnancy have been ahead. This was the point with our last baby when we found out he was going to be small which eventually led to an induction at 39w for suspected IUGR. He was born 3.05kg, so, not too small. 12w3d. Harmony test back. All good and feeling very relieved. We're having another boy! That will be 5 boys in a row, (including my 2 stepsons). I don't think we'll do an announcement, just let people know as needed. At 42 and baby number 5, most people whom I've told so far have been rather less than congratulatory unfortunately. 😕
