Удаление желчного пузыря при беременности на 12 неделе

Anyone on here that’s had their gallbladder removed and or an ERCP procedure? I’m having both Tuesday, and as if that wasn’t nerve wrecking enough I’m also 12 weeks pregnant. Give it to me straight, what’s my life going to look like without my gallbladder, and how’s recovery?

I hated the pain of the bad gallbladder it was awful! I was also pregnant when they wanted to do it but further along than you so we opted to wait until I had baby. That was really rough! The pain after wasn’t too bad. It’s been 19 years since mine was gone and I have an excess of bile that isn’t common so I have to take a pill every day to absorb some of that bile. Without it I was throwing it up every day. Ice cream or heavy cream pastas, I have to eat at home because I need the bathroom quickly after but if that’s the worst part it’s still better than the pain.

Thank you! I’ll keep that in mind, the general surgeon said he usually likes pregnant patients to wait until after they have the baby but the fact I’m still in my first trimester would make a long pregnancy of misery and my high liver enzymes had him worried, he said let’s just go ahead and remove it and let me get to feeling better. The pain from this is making my life a living hell. All I can do is scream and cry for hours on end.

oh it’s an awful pain and nothing helps. And I felt like I could barely eat while pregnant because everything seemed to agitate it. I feel your pain. I had a friend have hers done in her first trimester and everything was fine and baby was healthy and fine.

Removing my gall bladder was the BEST decision I ever made. I was in so much pain going into surgery that the nurse when I came out said I looked better after. It took about a week to feel semi normal. Getting out of bed sucked but if you have someone to help you it’s not that bad. Yes some foods go right through me but it’s not often. They have this powder you can use if you react to a lot of foods after. But let me repeat HANDS DOWN BEST DECISION EVER. The pain of a diseased gall bladder is no joke. I do not miss it. Also fun fact it’s been 8 years and my scars are gone too.

Thank you! I have 11 gallstones some of which are in/blocking my bile duct. I’ve been sick since last Sunday. Constantly throwing up with food/water. The pain is so bad I just scream out and beg god to either take the pain away or take me out whichever comes first. The general surgeon said it would only get worse from here if we didn’t go ahead and remove it and my bilirubin is a 5.6 and my eyes are jaundiced. This will be my first surgery so I’m terrified and being pregnant just adds to that anxiety.

it was also my first surgery. I felt relief in the recovery room. I shit you not. I was better coming out immediately from surgery than going in. Zero absolutely zero regrets
