My mother was just as scary overbearing as the Mother in the original 70s film minus the over religious stuff. That movie scared me.

I saw the one that was in theater back in 99 or early 00’ and I thought it would be fun but it was lame and I mean lame goth for a goth kid like myself at the time🤷♀️

I hadn’t seen that either. The 2013 remake was awful. The 2002 wasn’t too bad but I still prefer the original. I doubt I’ll watch this new one.

I love the 1970’s original one and the book. I’ve seen a tiny bit of one of the remakes but not the whole thing, and havent cared to see the other. 😅 But yeah, I doubt I’ll watch this either unless I get reallllllllyyyy bored. It looks so bad.
