I’m not even sure anymore. One almost bled to death, another almost suffocated. I might have ruined the other 5 because I had to open the incubator. One doesn’t look like it has eyes. I’m a mess and wishing I never did this almost.

I’m sorry to hear that. I always waited for one of my hens to go broody for this exact reason. It’s easier and safer IMO! I hope things turn around and the other 5 eggs do good.

I can hatch my chickens eggs with no problem but this breed is apparently very hard to hatch and come with problems. I talked to some breeders on Facebook and said most of the time they look like murder scenes when they hatch. Their eggs are super thick and harder to break than most breeds. Things I should have looked up first but I was too excited. I have 2 healthy babies. One egg is rocking and chirping so I will see what happens.

Lost the third one but the first 2 are doing great. They are outside in their brooder box. I almost gave up on the other eggs but one is rocking and chirping so idk. Knowing what I know now I’m not sure if it can hatch or not.
