Finally a day off and I am using it wisely. Pickling red onions, food prep for the week and going to an international market for some foodie goods. Possibly read later since it is cool and rainy weather for it.
What’s for dinner?
I have some chicken I’m thinking about throwing in the crock pot. Idk what exactly I’m going to do with it yet though. Maybe some ranch chicken recipe I found and want to try.
@icebergahead, Fried okra is a good southern staple. 😂 I grew up eating it from time to time.
@llamapantaloons, neat! I love how slimy it is😆 I had it for the first time when I was about 29. It was a Jamaican side dish with oxtail. Loved it since.
@icebergahead, It is an interesting texture, that’s for sure! I’ve only had it not fried like once. I wasnt very sure of it. 😂
We had kiddos bday party yesterday. Probably going to eat the leftover food from the cookout tonight.
Roast beef, mashed tators, zuchinni and a side salad.
