I thought this was a thriller, but ChatGPT said It’s historical fiction with the emotional impact of telling hidden stories, I asked chatGPT if this book will make me cry and it said yes 😭 not in the manipulative tearjerker way but in the my chest feels heavy because this characters story matters way. As soon as I read the dedication I should have known I was about to go on an emotional roller coaster of a ride… when I read I feel like I’m in their story it’s like being an empath to characters in the book and when it’s a historical fiction! It’s worse cause some of the ugly parts had happened and the world has always been cruel. Let’s see how I am at the end of this I’m only on chapter 2 and already I’m scared.

If you’re wanting something to binge that isn’t your typical go-to, I highly recommend The Last Kingdom. There are three seasons on Netflix, and it hooks you from the first episode. It’s sooo good. Season four supposed to be uploaded in April. A binge worthy show for sure. Historical fiction . Set in the 9th Century. The stories of the Saxon’s/Danish/Vikings. Character development, storyline, the sets, and overall talent of the cast is 100%. Even though it’s considered historical fiction, it does follow along the lines of actual history. If you liked Reign(& if you haven’t watched that, GO! It’s soooooo good!), The Tudors, or Game Of Thrones, then this is for you. It also doesn’t hurt that the main character is soooo handsome. 😍

What books to read if you hate YA and fantasy?

I need podcast recommendations. Or Audible recommendations.. i’m in a “reading” slump. I’m extremely picky with books though. Absolutely no YA / books where the main character is 17. No fantasy. I prefer historical fiction, and love a “i was raised by horrible parents, this is the story of my life” kind of books. (Like The Glass Castle. Or, The Great Alone). Books about being raised by religious freaks / bible belt / culty and “i made it out”. (Like Sound of Gravel, or Educated.) Any thing you’re loving? 🙃

Abnormal Pap Smear and HPV During Pregnancy: What Should I Do?

Well this is embarrassing but this is the first time I’ve had a abnormal Pap smear & tested positive for hpv and I’m freaking out being pregnant😭🤢🤮 has anyone else had this happen during pregnancy? I’m scared, emotional, feel disgusted , & hurt I literally feel like I’m having a nervous breakdown and so scared that I won’t be able to our children grow and I feel so alone and just need someone that understands and that I can vent to , I feel disgusted in myself and scared to when it comes to being sexual now I feel so scared that it’s something I’m going to lose my life over & by research I’ve read if it’s cervical cancer and isn’t caught in time other organs can shut down I don’t know guys I just really need someone I’m sorry 😐
