Do your kids play Roblox? Do they chat with other kids on there? It makes me very uncomfortable... Am I overreacting?
All my kids play Roblox I obviously don’t hover over my oldest he’s almost 18. My 12 and 9 year old I’ve always spoken to them about online safety and not sharing personal information and being respectful and appropriate and leaving games if it gets inappropriate. They are free to chat with other players, my daughter said what’s the point of playing public games if she can’t socialize with other players and her friends also play they chat with each other.
My son is almost 7 year old and he plays Roblox but he has rules and if I add other kids after I get the info from the parent of the child that has the Roblox. Then I'm the one to type it in but he's not allowed to just add random people
We have the chat thing blocked. And she's not able to add friends unless its a family member.
Yeah Brody has it and even creates games for others to play. We have rules if he plays with kids he doesn't know. 1 they have to be a kid so with his age right now they have to be around his age. So no teens which if he has a question he will have us listen while they talk and we will say yes or no. He cant give out his full name or where he lives he can say state but that's all. Thankfully hes been gaming since age 4 and we have played with many of the kids he has met online and even there parents will join us in a game its been a great experience for us. But yes we talked about all the bad with it. His roblox is connected to my phone I can read all messages which he knows unless its an approved friend then he is not allowed to message back. We are a gaming family so we are all on it alot and there are about 12 of them that play together all the time and all but three we have met and hung out with in person
We just dabbled into it. You create a parent account and can monitor certain features. I personally don’t think the content blocks are strong enough.
I have the monthly subscription and get Robux my daughter only goes on mine 😂😂😂.
